“Do you think I’m worth living?”

Here's how you can answer this young man with hope ...

Please read the message below from our paid sponsor. While the views of this sponsor don't necessarily reflect those of Not the Bee, occasional paid messages like these help us continue bringing you the content you love.

Dear Not the Bee Reader,

"Do you think I'm worth living?"

These are the words of a young man I'll call Eddie.

He was alone. Out of work. Broke. In trouble with the law. Filled with shame.

Unable to think of any way to deal with what he called "my dirty past," Eddie turned to the internet - to a website called TheHopeLine.com - in the middle of the night.

Absolutely desolate, he typed that question into a chat: "Do you think I'm worth living?"

And a Hope Coach typed back an answer that changed Eddie's life:

"Jesus died so you can live!"

That very night, Eddie prayed a sinner's prayer and gave himself to Christ.

Please take a stand with TheHopeLine today to reach, rescue, and restore 13- to 29-year-olds like Eddie from every type of crisis imaginable through the power of God's unfailing love. For a limited time, your generosity will be doubled in impact up to the $20,000 total of a "Jesus Saves" Matching Challenge!

Transformational encounters like this couldn't happen without the support of caring friends like you.

And with a quickly growing number of teens and young adults facing depression, anxiety, abuse, loneliness, suicide ... many more young people like Eddie are on the brink.

The need couldn't be more pressing - this young generation is in crisis!
  • Centers for Disease Control data shows that 44% of U.S. teens feel persistently sad and hopeless, up from 26% in 2009 and 37% in 2019.
  • Anxiety is off the charts, with Barna Research finding that at least 54% of Millennials wrestle with anxiety or fear or feel emotionally fragile. Fewer than 20% feel "very satisfied" with their lives.
  • Online, nearly 75% of teens talked about self-harm or suicide.

For them, I urgently invite you to give a gift today - a gift that can not only save a life like Eddie's, but can open the door for Jesus to give new life.

Founded by the late Dawson McAllister, we've been effectively ministering the hope of Christ to troubled students and young adults for over 40 years.

And as friends like you stand with us, we will continue to provide our critical work of reaching troubled young people where they are - online - through our proven 24/7 live crisis chat ... the same one that saved Eddie's life!

There, teens and young adults can reach out and talk with a highly trained Hope Coach any time through FREE online chat ...

  • Our Hope Coaches are awesome people who love helping students and young adults. They listen ... offer encouragement, answers, prayer, resources, and hope ... rescuing young people in crisis from the brink of suicide and pointing them to new life in Jesus Christ.

It takes just $56 to connect two young people searching for hope and answers with a Hope Coach ... and save their lives by the power of God's transforming love!  But right now, through the "Jesus Saves" Matching Challenge, every dollar you give will go TWICE as far -
  • So that same $56 will be DOUBLED in impact to enable four students and young adults to connect with a Hope Coach for hope and answers.
  • $84 will be DOUBLED to provide six young people to chat with Hope Coaches.
  • $140 will be DOUBLED to connect 10 young people!

How many young lives can you save today?

And please - hurry!

The need is overwhelming - and growing by the day! Visits to TheHopeLine's Live Chat are up more than 90%, as students and young adults grapple with anxiety, depression, self-harm, and even suicide.

We've got to reach more of them before it's too late.

Together, we'll make a life-saving difference by His transforming power!

Gratefully yours,
