A renowned pro-life speaker and author breaks it down for us.
Dr. J Show | March 6, 2024 - Stephanie Gray Connors
Since the U.S. Supreme Court's 2022 Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the pro-life movement has faced a new wave of hostility and aggression from pro-abortion forces, including violence against pregnancy care centers and churches.
To speak with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse about this is author and abortion debater Stephanie Gray Connors. Stephanie is most known for her riveting pro-life presentation at Google headquarters that went viral in 2017. She began presenting at age 18 and has given more than 1,000 pro-life presentations all over the world.
Through her new book, My Body for You: A Pro-life Message for a Post-Roe World, Stephanie provides arguments and insights for navigating the political and social situation in America today.
"The overturning of Roe was an obvious cause for celebration, but it was the winning of a battle, not the war," Stephanie says. We still need "people to be as present, if not even more present, in the movement, and more active and more vocal because … now the battle is happening on a state level."
In her book, Stephanie draws on cases from the news, such as the couple who went out of state for an abortion after receiving a poor diagnosis for their unborn baby.
"Those of us who are going to live longer do not have a right to end the lives of those who are going to live shorter. That child's life should not have been shortened even further by the choice to commit homicide."

A woman recently told me I should stop talking about issues such as Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández's scandalous book, Mystical Passion. Her reasoning was that this book is a thing of the past. "Past sins are forgotten. We need to move on," she said.
This isn't the first time someone has said something like this to me. I actually hear it quite frequently. I find it concerning because this kind of rhetoric is partly responsible for the ongoing clerical abuse crisis.
