Dr. J Show | May 8, 2024 - Mary Margaret Olohan
Mary Margaret Olohan is senior reporter at the Daily Signal and author of Detrans: True Stories of Escaping the Gender Ideology Cult. Watch as she shares the powerful, heartbreaking, and tragic stories of detransitioners.
"Each of these young people had a troubled background," Olohan says of her interviewees, including pornography exposure and alcoholic, abusive, and/or divorced parents. Having been sexually assaulted, feeling lonely, and spending a lot of time on social media were also common threads.
These young people "thought if they transitioned, their mental health would be restored, that they would no longer be suffering so acutely." But instead, they found this to be a lie from, essentially, cultists.
Learn what online searches caused these vulnerable children to become inundated with trans propaganda and direct messages saying, "Yes, you want to transition. Yes, this will be good for you. No, your parents don't understand you. They hate you. That's why they don't want you to transition."
In the second half of the interview on Locals, Olohan shares the shocking and disturbing impact testosterone has on girls' mental and physical health.
Dr. Morse joins Joe McClane on Station of the Cross radio to tackle the rotten fruits of the Sexual Revolution, including making children accept whatever their parents give them, even if it means pretending not to mind multiple divorces and broken homes.
The Church's teaching about sexuality is correct and protects children, Morse notes. Children are owed a relationship with their parents, and that has implications for how adults behave.
Also, listen as Morse critiques Bill Maher's assertion that Hollywood is full of pedophiles. He is correct about that, but his accusation wasn't thorough enough!
